Digital Content Creator £39,274 per annum (pay award pending) – Grade 7 Leeds / Hybrid Full time / Permanent – 37 hours per week Closing date: Sunday 15 June 23:55 Please note that the Combined Authority will consider requests for part-time working and/or job share. We currently have a vacancy for a Digital Content Creator to join our Digital team. Based within the wider Media team, you will work closely with colleagues in press, marketing, and policy, to deliver creative and impactful videography and photography content for a range of areas, including transport, environment, culture, and policing & crime. Working closely with the Senior Digital Media Officer, you will craft content strategies for a range of social media platforms, create and edit videography and photography content, and draft copy to engage with our audiences. The Role Reporting into the Senior Digital Media Officer, your key responsibilities will include: * Develop innovative digital content strategies, which build engagement, spark conversations and communicate the objectives of the mayor and Combined Authority. * Create and edit engaging video and image-led content for a wide range of digital and social media platforms. * Draft copy for a range of social media and digital platforms for the mayor and Combined Authority. * Evaluate and monitor content performance to drive an insight-led approach to future content strategies. * Advise stakeholders on best practice for digital content. * Stay up to date with the latest social media content trends and platform developments. About You You will have the following key skills, attributes, education and experience: * Educated to degree level or equivalent experience in Filmmaking, Broadcast Journalism, Digital Marketing, PR or communications. * Understanding of planning, delivering, and evaluating multi-channel campaigns. * Experience capturing, editing, and delivering video, photo, and audio content. * Experience writing, editing and proofreading high quality copy for multiple target audiences, often in limited timeframes. * Experience using content creation software such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Canva or similar.
