We currently have a vacancy for a Consultation & Engagement Advisor to join our Communities, Consultation & Engagement team This role will work on consultation and engagement activity relating to the Combined Authority’s Transport work programmes. We want to deliver a new integrated and inclusive transport network, developed by people in West Yorkshire, for people in West Yorkshire. Our transport strategies and plans set out how we hope to achieve this, and to help us we want to consult and engage with all our communities, so we know what people want and need. The Role Reporting into the Senior Consultation & Engagement Officer, your key responsibilities will include: * Plan, manage, deliver and evaluate integrated consultation and engagement projects related to transport, enabling a wide range of audiences to shape and influence policies, projects and services delivered by the West Yorkshire Combined Authority and local authority partners. * Promote consultation and engagement best practice throughout the Combined Authority and externally by providing appropriate advice and support and ensuring compliance with the organisation’s corporate consultation and engagement standards. * Use advanced research techniques to collect, analyse and present consultation and engagement findings and advise senior managers, elected members and board members on how best to 2 maximise strategic consultation and engagement opportunities to achieve the organisation’s objectives, and fulfil legal obligations. * The West Yorkshire Combined Authority is committed to promoting equality, diversity and inclusivity.
