Communications and Marketing Advisor £36,032 per annum – Grade 6 Leeds / Hybrid Full time / Permanent – 37 hours per week Closing date: Sunday 8 June 11:55pm Please note that the Combined Authority will consider requests for part-time working and/or job share. We currently have a vacancy for a Communications and Marketing Advisor to join our Strategic Transport Marketing and Communications Team. This would suit someone looking to develop their career in marketing with experience in a similar role. The Role Reporting into the Senior Communications and Marketing Officer – Strategic Transport Projects, your key responsibilities will include: * Support the team in delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns to tell the story of the work the Combined Authority and the Mayor do to improve transport and travel in West Yorkshire. * Deliver campaigns that encourage people to try more sustainable ways of travelling including active public transport and active travel. * Support developing campaigns to encourage higher participation from a diverse range of people in transport consultations. * Support the development of creative, digital and media buying briefs to create compelling content that demonstrates real life, real people impact of transport projects. * Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders and suppliers coordinating marketing plans, reports, presentations, political briefings and meetings. * Proofread creative content and write and proofread copy ensuring compliance with brand guidelines and the house style guide. * Schedule content and report on performance using CMS and external scheduling and reporting platforms such as Hootsuite. About You You will have the following key skills, attributes, education and experience: * Demonstrable experience of performing in a similar role. * A highly organised, strategic thinker who enjoys the challenge of working in a fast-paced organisation with competing priorities. * Creative flair and an ability to create compelling content from sometimes complex and technical information. * Highly personable and able to build good working relationships across the organisation. * Enjoy teamwork and seek out collaborations as well as being able to work independently when needed.
