Are you passionate about food and thrive in a busy, fast-paced kitchen? We are looking for an experienced and motivated Chef to join our team at The Beach Café, set in one of the most stunning locations on the South Coast. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic kitchen team delivering high-quality seasonal food in a unique seaside setting.

The Role

The primary purpose of this role is to work collaboratively with the wider chef team to create a culture of excellence in both food quality and service. You will help deliver inspirational customer experiences while maintaining exemplary food safety and hygiene standards.

  • Support the Head Chef and wider kitchen team in daily operations
  • Lead the kitchen brigade in the absence of senior chefs
  • Assist in developing seasonal menus and creative specials
  • Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality, seasonal food
  • Oversee food preparation and presentation standards
  • Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and maintain efficient stock control
  • Support training and development within the kitchen team
  • Maintain strict food safety and hygiene compliance

About You

The ideal candidate will be:

Working Hours

Guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week, primarily daytime shifts. Occasional early evening finishes during exceptionally busy periods. Weekend and Bank Holiday working required.
