Due to an unexpected change in the circumstances of the successful applicant, we are required to readvertise this position. We are seeking to appoint an outstanding, experienced and highly effective Upper Key Stage 2 teacher to join our dedicated team from September 2026. We are a successful primary school that is determined to provide the highest quality learning for every child.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of excellence in Key Stage 2, demonstrating strong subject knowledge, high expectations for pupil achievement and a commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
The role will include:
- Teaching all aspects of the Key Stage 2 curriculum, ensuring well-planned, engaging and inclusive lessons
- Maintaining high standards of pupil progress, behaviour and wellbeing
- Contributing positively to team planning, assessment and moderation
- Taking on subject leadership responsibilities, with the opportunity to further develop leadership skills
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers to support pupil success
We are looking for someone who:
- Is an experienced Key Stage 2 teacher with a strong understanding of the Upper KS2 curriculum
- Has high expectations of all pupils and a commitment to raising standards
- Demonstrates excellent classroom practice and effective behaviour management
