The purpose of the post is:
- To lead on improving teaching and learning in Travel and Aviation.
- To be responsible for promoting good student attendance, punctuality and discipline.
- To lead on key curriculum-related processes.
- To supervise staff to support high quality teaching and learning.
- To be the lead IV for the curriculum area as appropriate.
- To develop links with external agencies which enrich the curriculum.
- To manage annually agreed key project/s.
- To assist the Director in setting and meeting programme area targets including student numbers, full cost targets and course viability.
