This is a great opportunity to join our People & Development team in a varied and rewarding role at the heart of the employee experience. As our People & Development Coordinator, you will provide high-quality administrative support across the full employee lifecycle, helping to ensure our people processes run smoothly, accurately, and professionally. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, detail focused, and looking to continue building a career in human resources within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- HR Administration and Systems
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records within the HR system, ensuring data quality and confidentiality at all times.
- Prepare and issue standard HR documentation, including contracts, letters, and employee correspondence.
- Produce reports and HR information to support business needs and decision-making.
- Ensure employee files and HR records are maintained in line with GDPR and audit requirements.
- Employee Lifecycle
- Coordinate administration across the recruitment process, including posting adverts, tracking applications, arranging interviews, and supporting pre-employment checks.
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and ensure timely communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Support employee lifecycle administration for starters, role changes, and leavers, ensuring all actions are completed and documentation updated accurately and on time.
- Coordinate leaver administration, including exit processes, benefit changes, and completion of the leavers checklist.
- Payroll and Reporting Support
- Support monthly payroll administration by preparing accurate payroll data, including overtime, sickness records, and contractual changes, and producing reports within agreed deadlines for processing by finance.
- Learning and Development
- Monitor completion of mandatory training and follow up with employees and managers where required.
- Maintain training records and the training matrix, supporting compliance with organisational and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate training bookings, liaise with external providers, and support the administration of internal learning activities.
- Prepare training reports, track completion data, and support the administration of employee development plans.
- Employee Engagement
- Support employee engagement activity, including celebrations, milestones, surveys, and wider people initiatives.
- Assist with the coordination of internal events and activities that contribute to a positive workplace culture and employee experience.
- Organise monthly office lunches and maintain office stock of office snacks, drinks etc.
- Support community support and ESG initiatives, including coordinating volunteering activity and accurately tracking employee volunteer hours.
- Work with the Marketing team to support employer branding activity and help publicise our people, community initiatives.
- HR Compliance and Support
- Support HR compliance activity, including audits, record checks, and evidence collation for internal and external requirements.
- Provide administrative support for employee relations processes, including note taking and document preparation where required.
- Support the Director of People & Development with general HR administration and continuous improvement of processes and systems.

About You

- You have a good understanding of core HR processes and employment-related administration.
- You are a confident communicator with a proactive, flexible, and customer-focused approach.
- You are CIPD Level 3 qualified, or working towards it, or able to demonstrate relevant experience.
