About the Role
As Partnership Alliances Manager, you will accelerate growth through the development of strategic partnerships and alliances across the IT tech channel network. You will take full ownership of our partnership strategy, shaping, developing and strengthening high‑impact alliances with key technology vendors and industry stakeholders. The role plays a key part in generating demand for sales teams by unlocking value through joint marketing activity, intelligent MDF investment and strong commercial partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver a partnership and alliances strategy aligned to Novatech’s growth objectives
- Deliver joint partner marketing campaigns that generate demand and measurable sales opportunities
- Build, manage and expand relationships with key technology partners and industry stakeholders, including vendors, distributors, MSPs and other strategic partners
- Leverage partner relationships to support the growth of Novatech’s offerings, particularly the Direct2Desk service
- Work cross‑functionally with marketing, purchasing and sales teams to activate partnerships effectively and maximise MDF utilisation
- Provide line management, coaching and support to colleagues involved in partnership marketing delivery
- Track, measure and report on partnership performance and outcomes
About You
This is a pivotal role for someone who thrives on building strong relationships, identifying opportunity and translating collaboration into tangible commercial outcomes. You will bring proven experience in partnerships, alliances or business development within the IT Channel, with a strong track record of building and sustaining relationships that deliver measurable impact. A solid understanding of vendor engagement, MDF and joint go‑to‑market activity is critical to success in this role. You will also have experience in line management or team leadership, with the ability to set clear objectives, support development and foster a positive, high‑performing environment. Your communication and influencing skills enable you to engage confidently at all levels, from senior external partners to internal stakeholders. Commercially astute and collaborative by nature, you enjoy working across functions and bringing people together around shared goals. You are comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands‑on leadership and thrive in a fast‑paced environment where priorities evolve.
