What you’ll be doing:
- You will be the first point of contact for goods arriving from our Direct2Desk (D2D) customers. This includes booking items in, checking supporting documents, logging everything accurately in our systems and processing items through our triage workflow. Throughout each stage, you’ll keep clear, organised records.
- You’ll work closely with your line manager and team, especially when handing over work or escalating issues. You’ll follow all health and safety guidelines and help maintain a tidy, well-organised working environment.
- Although D2D will be your main focus, you’ll also have the opportunity to learn other areas of the business so you can support colleagues and provide cover when needed. This may include supporting our Showroom or assisting with Supplier Returns.
What we’re looking for:
- The successful candidate will be someone who is methodical, process driven, hardworking and thrives in a fast paced environment. You’ll be reliable, punctual and adaptable when priorities shift.
- You’ll also be a supportive team player who communicates clearly and is confident using computers and logging information accurately.
- Experience in warehousing, stock processing or customer-facing roles is great to have, but not essential. What matters most is your willingness to learn, your enthusiasm and your can-do approach. If you’re curious about IT or technology, even better!
- Most importantly, you’ll embody our values. You’ll work collaboratively, respond proactively, be authentic and respectful, act with honesty and show real conscientiousness in everything you do. You’ll take pride in your work and always put our customers first.
- Due to the secure nature of our work, the successful candidate will need to undertake security vetting checks and must be comfortable with this.
- If you enjoy hands-on work, have strong attention to detail and love being part of a team that keeps everything running behind the scenes, this could be the perfect role for you.
