MSV's circuits host a number of European and national race series including GT World Challenge, World Superbikes, the British Touring Car Championship and the Bennetts British Superbike Championship.
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a bright and hardworking individual to join the team on a part-time basis working Monday, Thursdays and Fridays at Oulton Park as our Finance Administrator. Oulton Park hosts rounds of the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship, the Bennetts British Superbike Championship and the British GT Championship, plus countless other club-level and historic categories on both two and four wheels, as well as festivals and car shows. In addition to large spectator events, the circuit operates many track days, driving experiences, hospitality and conferencing events throughout the year.
In this role you will:
- Maintain an efficient purchase order system, including processing of invoices
- Support all venue departments in the procurement of goods and services, including seeking quotations, ensuring their accuracy, and issuing purchase orders
- Oversee cash handling including cashing up, banking and ordering change
- Document training and Health and Safety compliance
- Oversee Marshal and Ad Control rotas
- Manage relationships with key suppliers
- Answer telephone calls into the department, taking accurate messages and handling general enquiries in a polite and personable manner
- General administration duties for the Oulton Park operational teams
For this role you will have / be:
- Experience working within a fast-paced administrative role (experience within a finance role would be desirable)
- Educated to A-level standard or equivalent
- Excellent written and spoken English skills
- A full UK driving licence (essential due to location)
- Highly organised
- Strong Outlook, Word and Excel skills
- The ability to communicate confidently with customers both face-to-face and over the telephone
