We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive House Events Administrator to join our House Meetings & Events team. This is a pivotal role supporting the seamless planning and delivery of exceptional experiences within Goodwood House.

Working closely with both the Butler and Kitchen teams, you’ll be at the centre of operations – coordinating people, processes and information to ensure every event runs smoothly.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Acting as a key point of contact for internal and external enquiries, providing a professional and timely response
  • Planning and coordinating staffing for House events, ensuring accurate forecasting in line with budgets
  • Managing time and attendance systems, lieu time trackers, and supporting payroll processes for casual staff
  • Monitoring labour costs against revenue, reporting insights and identifying any variances
  • Owning purchase order processes, including raising and approving invoices across front and back of house
  • Supporting financial administration, including food and beverage reporting and invoice tracking
  • Maintaining the House events calendar to ensure clear visibility and avoid scheduling conflicts
  • Coordinating event updates with planners and communicating key details to operational teams
  • Supporting compliance across employment practices, health & safety, and food hygiene standards

What you’ll have:

  • Prior experience in an administrative role within a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • A good understanding of financial and administrative processes
  • Experience within food and beverage or events (desirable)
