Introduction
We are seeking a Catering Support Worker to join our team. The successful applicant will be part of a small team that supports adults with learning disabilities and/or autism in developing their catering skills.
Hours: Part-time, 15 hours per week, Monday and Thursday 9-5, with occasional weekend and evening work for planned events.
The ideal candidate will be confident in all aspects of catering and food production, creating delicious home-cooked meals for our customers. They will manage corporate bookings, provide training and support for people with learning disabilities, and maintain high standards of service.
The role involves working closely with the Hospitality Lead and catering team to develop the café, including menu planning. This position would suit someone with a “Can Do” attitude who enjoys creating traditional food dishes and wants to make a difference in people’s lives.
Responsibilities
- Confidently manage all aspects of catering and food production
- Create delicious home-cooked meals for customers
- Manage corporate bookings for up to 100 people
- Provide training, support, and appropriate learning environments for people with learning disabilities
