We are looking for compassionate, reliable, and patient individuals to join our team as bank support staff for a lady who is non-verbal, has autism, epilepsy, and learning disabilities. She requires consistent, person-centred 1-2-1 care to support her in her home and community. She has many interests, including going for drives in her car (driver required), listening to music on her tape player, and enjoys drinking and eating snacks, as well as going for walks (with supervision and encouragement).

Support Needs:

  • At Home: 1:1 support
  • In the Community: 2:1 support

Supervision while eating is essential to reduce the risk of choking or aspiration pneumonia. Assistance with bathing (twice daily) and personal care is required for this role.

Our client can display challenging behaviour, especially with unfamiliar staff. So a patient, resilient person with prior experience is required. Someone who can build trust and rapport is key.

Candidates Will Be:

  • Experienced in supporting individuals with autism, epilepsy, and learning disabilities
  • Calm, patient, and observant
  • Able to follow detailed care plans and safety protocols
  • Reliable – routine is key
