The Opportunity

Salary: £25,584 to £25,992 per annum

Working Pattern: Full time, 37 hours per week

Contract type: 4 -year Apprenticeship

Location: County Hall, Chichester and hybrid working

WSCC Interview date: w/c 23 June 2025

The Open University Interview date: w/c 14 July 2025

The Digital and Technology Solutions Professional Degree Apprenticeship structure has been designed to exploit the benefits of learning in a work context. Guided teaching is delivered through a mix of live webinars, recorded lectures and online learning material. The apprenticeship will provide you with the skills and knowledge you need to succeed as a digital and technology solutions
professional.

On our Digital and Technology Solutions Professional Degree Apprenticeship, you will gain experience across a broad range of activities that will develop your key employability and industry specific skills. You will collaborate with experienced professionals to provide technology solutions within areas like network infrastructure, cyber security, software and data analysis.

We currently have four Apprenticeship positions available. Upon completing your initial training, the following specialisms available will be:

  • Cyber Security Analyst x 2 opportunities
  • Data Analyst x 1 opportunity
  • Network Engineer x 1 opportunity

What are we looking for?

  • You will be able to demonstrate the ability to work both independently and as part of a team to provide a coordinated service to others.
  • You will be able to work with integrity, reliability, self-motivation, proactivity, and a positive attitude.
  • You will be comfortable accepting and managing changing priorities related both to your work and to the organisation.

Above all, you will need the drive and commitment to complete all your assignments/related projects to achieve your Level 6 Digital and Technology Solutions Professional Degree Apprenticeship, and present evidence for assessment within specified timeframes.
