About Us
Hazelwick School is looking for organised and reliable people to join our existing team of Casual Exam Invigilators. Training will take place on 16th October 2026 with first internal exams in December 2026. Although this is a casual role, we are looking for people who will commit to being available to work on a minimum of 3 days per week during the exam periods, with availability provided at least 8 weeks in advance. Shifts are allocated as and when required, on a casual, hourly paid basis and cannot be guaranteed. Morning exam shifts start from 8.00am.
As an Invigilator you will assist with the efficient administration and invigilation of internal and external examinations and will ensure that they are conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring the security of examination paperwork and preventing possible candidate malpractice. We are looking for people who, by the summer exam series in 2027, will be comfortable to take responsibility for running an exam hall.
You must have:
- A good understanding of the importance of teamwork
- The ability to follow examination procedures and enforce regulations
- Effective communication skills and the ability to give instructions clearly
Previous experience of working in a similar role would be an advantage but is not essential, as a full support network and training programme will be available for the successful candidates. You will be required to attend training throughout the year to keep up to date with new procedures and regulations.
