Development Officer

Feel Good Suffolk is the county’s healthy lifestyles service, supporting residents to stop smoking, manage a healthy weight, and get more active.

We’re looking for a Development Officer to drive the development of the service and lead our smoking cessation work.

About the role

This role will have real purpose, helping to reduce health inequalities and create lasting change in communities across Suffolk.

  • Act as the day‑to‑day lead for county‑wide smoking cessation matters.
  • Lead and support a team of advisors delivering targeted community projects.
  • Develop and maintain referral pathways with health and community organisations.
  • Monitor performance and support quality improvement across the service.
  • Build strong partnerships across councils, the NHS, community groups, and local organisations.
  • Support and oversee projects funded through Feel Good Suffolk’s grants and contracts.
  • Produce reports, case studies, and presentations to showcase the impact of the services.
  • Shape new initiatives that strengthen Suffolk’s smoke‑free future.
  • Contribute to the overall development of Feel Good Suffolk.

You don’t need a background in smoking cessation—what matters is your ability to lead, organise, motivate, and deliver projects that make a difference . Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
