The predicted salary is between 800 - 1200 £ per month.

As a member of the IT team, you will assist in providing skilled and efficient support for desktop hardware and systems throughout the council and its partner organisations. You will learn how to build, install and maintain PC workstations and, with experience, become involved in resolving tickets on our Helpdesk. You will assist with IT aspects of office moves, provide general administrative support to the IT function, and gain experience working within the wider IT team.

Qualifications

  • No work experience required, but must be willing to learn
  • Demonstrate good communication and IT skills
  • GCSEs 9–4 (formerly A–C) in Maths, English and IT or equivalent
  • A Diploma or A level in Computing (Level 3) would be beneficial but not essential
  • Must meet the requirements to be eligible for an apprenticeship
