The predicted salary is between 12 - 15 £ per hour.
We are looking for an experienced Phlebotomist who will report to the Nurse Manager to deliver an efficient service to the clinic’s patients and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care. This position is offered on a part‑time basis for 20–25 hours per week. It should be noted that phlebotomists may be required to treat patients at all three of the practice’s sites – Hethersett, Cringleford and Mulbarton Surgeries – as and when required. The post holder must be flexible and possess appropriate qualifications to fulfil the duties of the role.
The post holder will provide high‑quality phlebotomy services to patients registered with the practice. They will be based at the practice but work as part of the integrated primary/community health care team, liaising with general practitioners and other professionals.
- Taking blood daily

Essential Skills- Phlebotomy experience using vacutainer system for blood collection
- High-level of English and numeracy skills
- Competent and confident IT skills – Word, Excel and email
- Demonstrate the ability to plan & organise effectively
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills including the ability to build and maintain relationships
- Excellent team player
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Flexibility to work later hours on occasion according to the needs of the patient
- SystmOne experience desirable
Recruitment to this role is conditional on the applicant having received two doses of the COVID‑19 vaccination or being able to demonstrate a clinical exemption.
