About the Role

The Humbleyard Practice is seeking a capable and highly motivated GP Referral Administrator to join our team. Offered on a part-time basis for 20 hours per week, the days/hours will be as follows:

  • Monday10.00-17.00
  • Wednesday9.30-17.00
  • Thursday10.00-17.00

This is an opportunity for someone with enthusiasm, commitment, and excellent communications skills to join our loyal and well-established secretarial team. The role will involve applying your administrative experience to assist clinical staff and patients with referral requests and inquiries, in a timely, efficient and professional manner.

About the Candidate

To be considered for this vacancy, you will require the following:

  • Experience working in primary care setting
  • Computer literate
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent written & spoken English
  • Time management skills
  • Ability to always maintain strict confidentiality
  • Flexibility with an adaptable approach

We are a large, semi-rural, dispensing, research and GP training Practice operating over three Surgery sites just to the southwest of Norwich. We have a fast-growing list size of 22,225 patients and we are part of the 5-practice Kett’s Oak Primary Care Network.
