Lighthouse Dental Practice is seeking a passionate clinical educator and dental therapist to join our growing team in Ipswich, Suffolk on a part-time basis. This is an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated professional to combine clinical excellence with educational leadership in a supportive, modern practice environment.
The primary focus of this role will be supporting university student placements and clinical education as well as dental therapy sessions from this October. We are a progressive dental practice committed to delivering outstanding patient care while fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development. Located in the heart of Ipswich, we pride ourselves on our modern facilities, advanced technology, and collaborative team approach to dentistry.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Provide high-quality dental therapy treatments including preventive care, restorative procedures, and oral health education.
- Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Perform scaling and polishing, fissure sealants, and simple restorative work.
- Administer local anaesthesia and provide pain management as required.
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
- Collaborate with dentists and other team members to ensure integrated patient care.
About the Candidate

- Registration with GDC
- Mentor new team members and support their professional development
