About the Role

Creffield Medical Group are seeking an experienced PA/Secretary to join our team to provide support to our clinical teams. This position is offered on a part‑time basis for 22.5 hours per week over 3 days – Monday, Tuesday and Fridays. You will be supporting teams at both our sites, West Bergholt and Nayland Surgeries, working under the direction of the Practice Manager and GP Partners.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the clinical teams with day to day administration tasks
  • Organising meetings and scheduling adjustments
  • Preparing documentation for meetings and taking minutes
  • Dealing with enquiries, medical notes and results letters
  • Managing the teams diaries and rotas
  • Managing annual leave requests
  • Providing cover for other teams PAs
  • Liaising with external agencies to resolve patient issues
  • Assisting with reports and gathering of statistics

About the Candidate

  • Previous PA/secretary experience essential.
  • Audio- and touch-typing skills.
  • Strong administrative experience and good organisational skills.
  • NHS experience/knowledge of medical terminology desirable.
  • Excellent general IT skills including MS Office and experience of working with a clinical system.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to multi‑task and to work accurately under pressure.
