Constable Country Medical Practice based in Colchester and Ipswich are looking to recruit a bank/casual medical receptionist for their team. Please note, this vacancy has no guaranteed hours. Shifts are offered to cover sickness, annual leave and busy periods so flexibility is essential.

Key duties will include:

  • Answering calls and helping patients access the right service
  • Booking appointments
  • Taking messages and managing the team’s task box
  • Liaising with clinicians and external services
  • Processing prescription requests
  • Providing test results as directed by clinicians
  • Maintaining a tidy and safe reception/working area

About Us

At Constable Country Medical Practice, we care for 12,250 patients across two sites and have a clinical team of 3 GP partners, 2 salaried GPs, 2 nurse practitioners and a paramedic. We are also a GP training practice. Our team of healthcare professionals and additional clinicians offer a number of clinics and services to promote good health and wellbeing whatever your medical condition. This may include services offered by the midwife, podiatrist or acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine doctor.
