The Writtle Surgery in Chelmsford are looking for a dedicated and compassionate practice nurse to join our team and help deliver high-quality care to our local community. As a practice nurse you will play a key role in providing safe, effective, and patient-centred care.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
- Providing clinical care, including health checks and patient assessments
- Administering vaccinations and immunisations
- Performing wound care, dressings, and assisting with minor procedures as required
- Supporting chronic disease management and patient education
- Maintaining accurate clinical records in line with NHS protocols
- Working collaboratively as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team
All applicants should have the following qualifications, registrations, skills and experience:
- A registered nurse with a current NMC

The Writtle Surgery is a 3 partner semi-rural dispensing practice of approximately 8,000 patients. We have 3 salaried GPs, and a fully staffed team including practice nurses, dispensers, secretaries and administrators, clinical pharmacists and receptionists.
