About the Role

Brook Hill Pharmacy and Great Notley Surgery have an opportunity for a counter assistant to join our busy pharmacy team working at the heart of our patient care service. This is a part time role for 10.75 hours per week: Wednesday 7.45am - 2pm and Saturday mornings 7.45 to 12.15pm.

The main responsibilities of the role include:

  • Greeting customers and patients coming into the pharmacy.
  • Taking in and handing out prescriptions.
  • Maintaining the shop floor.
  • Selling over the counter products and cashing up.

You will need to be flexible to cover for holidays and staff absence.

About the Candidate

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have previous experience in a similar role (preferred).
  • Possess experience of working in a busy, public environment.
  • Be flexible, with a positive attitude.
  • Demonstrate good team working and communication skills.
  • Demonstrate an excellent standard of patient care.

About Us

We are a 2-site, friendly training practice with over 21,000 patients. You will be supported by our team of 14 doctors, 2 nurse practitioners, nurses, healthcare assistants, receptionist, and admin team.
