My client, a leader in the local manufacturing industry, is looking to recruit an injection moulder to join their team due to rapid expansion having taken on projects from some blue-chip companies. An immediate start is available.
The role of Injection Moulder involves:
- Carrying out injection moulding, tool change/setting & optimisation, inspection and packaging of components and products within a cleanroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure production levels are maintained in line with daily/weekly schedules.
- Carry out tool changes and set up mould processes to agreed operation settings and identify and correct process problems.
- Basic fault finding on equipment breakdowns.
- Ensure the highest possible standards of product quality are met through efficient tool changes and process optimisation.
- Ensure that products are packed in line with the appropriate specification and correct standard operating procedures are used.
- Be a team player.
- Liaise with the stores team regarding the inward supply of material, components and the outward production of finished goods.
- Accurately complete production and quality control records and ensure proper product identification.
- Assist the Production Manager/Planning Department in managing component stock levels and work in progress to ensure maximum profit with minimum waste.
- Carry out daily/weekly Health and Safety checks on relevant machinery.
Key Skills and Experience required:
- 3+ years recent Injection Moulding experience.
- A driving licence would be desirable.
- Tool Change/Machine setting/Optimisation.
- Fault finding/Troubleshooting in an injection moulding environment.
- A passion to deliver high quality products within a fast-paced environment.
