I am delighted to be recruiting for my Client who are based between Wakefield and Dewsbury for experienced Frame Maker/Joiner to join their expanding business. You will be joining a business who manufactures high end, luxury beds working with premium fabrics. Working within a modern, professionally equipped workshop for a Client who invests in both the latest tools and machinery and provides ongoing personal development for their Employees this is a great opportunity for experienced Frame Maker/Joiner to be part of their growth plans. The positions are offered on a temporary to permanent basis with immediate starts available.
Duties:
- Fabricating and assembling bed frames, headboards and footstools
- Working with both hardwood and softwood
- Using hand tools and machinery safely and efficiently
- Following order sheets to meet production targets
- Ensuring all frames are structurally sound and upholstery-ready
- Supporting with general production duties when required
- Maintaining a clean and safe workspace
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in joinery, frame making or furniture production
- Good speed while maintaining accuracy and quality
- Confident using woodworking machinery and hand tools
- Ability to read and work from order sheets
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Experience in bed or sofa frame making is an advantage but not essential.
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 0800 – 1700
Payrate: Up to £16.00 per hour based upon experience
