I am delighted to be recruiting for my Client who are based between Wakefield and Dewsbury for experienced Upholsterers to join their expanding business. You will be joining a business who manufactures high end, luxury beds working with premium fabrics. Working within a modern, professionally equipped workshop for a Client who invests in both the latest tools and machinery and provides ongoing personal development for their Employees this is a great opportunity for experienced Upholsterers to be part of their growth plans. The positions are offered on a temporary to permanent basis with immediate starts available.
Duties
- Upholster bed frames and headboards to a luxury finish
- Working with fabrics such as velvet, linen, and boucle
- Follow order sheets and collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and a “right first time” approach
- Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet brand standards
- Keep your workspace tidy and organised
- Support with general factory tasks when required (packing, loading, moving stock)
Candidate Requirements
- We require a minimum of 2 years in an upholstery role (beds/sofas/furniture)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good balance of both speed and quality
- Understanding of working with high quality products
Hours of Work
Monday to Friday 0800 – 1700
Payrate
Up to ÂŁ16.00 per hour based upon experience
