The Production Supervisor is responsible for helping to plan, organize, coordinate and control production within the department.. The main responsibility is to ensure that goods and services are produced efficiently and are of the correct quantity, quality and cost.
Duties/Responsibilities
– Responsible for ensuring that H&S policy and correct PPE is adhered to on the shop floor
– Responsible for the delivery of the production plan schedule
– Responsible for ensuring that H&S measures are maintained
– Ensuring that the production is cost effective; (Cost per target)
– Ensuring the labor resource planning to support the production schedule
– Ensuring that products are produced on time and are of good quality
– Eresponsible for ensuring the deployment and management of 5s principles
– Ensuring that the team are managed in line with the company\’s policies and goals;
– Identifying and implementing continuous improvement ideas through the section
– Reviewing worker performance and addressing any performance issues within the team
– Identifying the team`s training needs.
Previous experience/Skills
– Proficient on implementing Lean Manufacturing Techniques
– Mechanical maintenance –qualification (advantageous)
– Proficient with Microsoft excel
– SAP – experience
