We are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (CE) Drivers for ongoing work based in Scunthorpe. This is a fantastic opportunity for drivers who are confident working with flatbeds and comfortable with the physical demands of steel deliveries.
The Role
- Transporting steel products using flatbed trailers
- Securing loads using chaining and sheeting (essential)
- Carrying out manual handling as part of daily duties
- Early morning starts between 04:00 – 07:00, Monday to Friday
- No weekend or bank holiday work
Pay & Benefits
- £17.00 per hour for the first 50 hours
- £21.00 per hour after 52.5 hours
- 30-minute unpaid break deducted daily
- 25 days holiday (including a reserved period for Christmas shutdown)
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (CE) licence
- Maximum of 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
- Experience with flatbed work, including chaining and sheeting, is required
- Steel experience preferred, but not essential
