We are recruiting for a Leeds based Client for an experienced Book-Keeper. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong accounting and administration skills who enjoys working in a friendly, fast-paced business environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing day-to-day bookkeeping duties
- Managing CIS deductions and payments
- Recording sales and purchase invoices
- Bank reconciliations
- Managing accounts payable and receivable
- Preparing VAT returns
- Payroll support (if experienced)
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Liaising with accountants when required
- General office administration support
Requirements
- Previous bookkeeping experience essential
- Knowledge of accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Experience within construction, trade, or service industries is beneficial but not essential
