We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable HGV 1 Weekend Driver to join our team in the logistics, distribution, and supply chain industry. This is a weekend position with the option of working more days if you wish. The successful candidate should be available to work one or both days over the weekends.
Job Duties:
- Transporting goods safely and efficiently to designated locations
- Adhering to all relevant traffic laws and regulations
- Maintaining accurate records of deliveries and vehicle inspections
- Ensuring timely and professional communication with the despatch team
- Performing routine vehicle checks and maintenance
Required Qualifications:
- Valid HGV Class 1 licence
- Tacho card
- Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an HGV driver
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of road safety regulations
- Strong communication and time management abilities
