We are excited to be recruiting on behalf of our client in Huddersfield (HD2), who is expanding their manufacturing operation and looking for motivated Production/Manufacturing Operatives to join their team on a temporary-to-permanent basis. This is a fast-paced, physically active role where no two days are the same. What You'll Be Doing
- Loading components onto production frames and securing them correctly
- Moving products through various stages of the production line
- Removing completed components from clamps and fixtures
- Inspecting and packaging finished products ready for customer delivery
- Working safely and efficiently as part of a supportive team
The products can be large and heavy, so this role is ideal for candidates who enjoy physical work and are comfortable with manual handling duties.
What We're Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience:
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience working within an engineering or manufacturing environment

- Ability to work rotating shifts
- Own safety boots/shoes

Working Hours - 3 Week Rotating Shift Pattern
- Morning Shift: Monday to Friday 7:00am – 2:30pm
- Afternoon Shift: Monday to Friday 2:00pm – 10:30pm
- Night Shift: Monday to Friday (finishing Saturday morning) 10:00pm – 7:30am
Pay & Benefits
£12.71 per hour for the first 12 weeks – plus attendance and performance bonus payable monthly. Overtime paid at Time 1/3 and 1/2. Once fully trained, you'll benefit from an enhanced hourly rate, recognising your skills and contribution.
