Job Duties:
- Drive HGV 1 vehicles to transport goods
- Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods
- Perform vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Adhere to all relevant driving regulations and legislation
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
- You will be required to handall your load to the back of your vehicle (sack wheels will be provided)
Required Qualifications:
- HGV 1 driving licence
- Valid CPC qualification and digital tacho card
- Good driving record
Experience:
Ideally you will haveprevious experience as a HGV 1 driver however, we will consider new passes
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent driving skills
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Physically fit as some handball will be required
Preferred experience:
- Previous experience in logistics and supply chain
