Job Title: HGV1 Driver Location: Barnsley South Yorkshire Job Type: Agency contract, expected to work a minimum of 40 hours Primary Industry: Logistics, Supply Chain Salary: £18.00 – £21.00 per hour Job Duties: Drive HGV 1 vehicles to transport goods Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods Perform vehicle inspections and maintenance checks Adhere to all relevant driving regulations and legislation Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance You will be required to handall your load to the back of your vehicle (sack wheels will be provided) Required Qualifications: HGV 1 driving licence Valid CPC qualification and digital tacho card Good driving record Experience: Ideally you will haveprevious experience as a HGV 1 driver however, we will consider new passes Knowledge and Skills: Excellent driving skills Strong knowledge of road safety regulations Good communication skills Ability to work independently Physically fit as some handball will be required Preferred experience: Previous experience in logistics and supply chain Working Conditions: Driving long distances Working in various weather conditions Flexible working hours
