Job Duties:
- Drive HGV 2 vehicles to transport goods
- Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods
- Perform vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Adhere to all relevant driving regulations and legislation
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
- You will be required to handball your load to the back of your vehicle (sack wheels will be provided)
Required Qualifications:
- HGV 2 driving licence
- Valid CPC qualification and digital tacho card
- Good driving record
Experience:
- Ideally you will have previous experience as a HGV 2 driver; however, we will consider new passes
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent driving skills
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Physically fit as handball will be required
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience in logistics and supply chain
Working Conditions:
- Driving long distances
