We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable HGV 1 Weekend Driver to join our team in the logistics, distribution, and supply chain industry. This is a weekend position with the option of working more days if you wish. The successful candidate should be available to work one or both days over the weekends.

Job Duties:

  • Transporting goods safely and efficiently to designated locations
  • Adhering to all relevant traffic laws and regulations
  • Maintaining accurate records of deliveries and vehicle inspections
  • Ensuring timely and professional communication with the despatch team
  • Performing routine vehicle checks and maintenance

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid HGV Class 1 licence
  • Tacho card
  • Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an HGV driver

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent driving skills and knowledge of road safety regulations
  • Strong communication and time management abilities
