We are currently recruiting Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for ongoing work based in Scunthorpe. This is a fantastic opportunity for drivers who are confident working with flatbeds and comfortable with the physical demands of steel deliveries.
The Role
- Transporting steel products using flatbed trailers
- Securing loads using chaining and sheeting
- Carrying out manual handling as part of daily duties
- Early morning starts between 04:00 – 07:00, Monday to Friday
- No weekend or bank holiday work
Pay & Benefits
- £17.00 per hour for the first 50 hours
- £21.00 per hour after 52.5 hours
- 30-minute unpaid break deducted daily
- 25 days holiday (including a reserved period for Christmas shutdown)
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Maximum of 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
- Steel experience preferred, but not essential

We ideally want drivers with steel experience, but we are open to candidates who understand that this is not typical distribution centre work. The role involves a significant amount of manual labour, so a strong work ethic and physical readiness are essential.
