We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client, based in Bradford, for an experienced Technical Sales Engineer to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with strong technical knowledge and sales experience. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the sales process, delivering technical expertise, and building strong relationships with customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the sales team to identify customer needs and provide effective technical solutions
  • Assist with the preparation of proposals, quotations, and sales contracts
  • Provide technical support to customers throughout the sales process
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers
  • Visit customer sites to measure and inspect existing and new compensators
  • Complete site inspection reports following visits
  • Carry out general office duties as required

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous sales experience
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Customer-focused with the ability to build strong client relationships
  • Good computer skills
  • Full clean driving licence (essential)

Full training will be provided.

Working Hours

Monday – Thursday: 08:30 – 17:00
Friday: 08:30 – 13:00

This position is offered on a Hybrid basis and will involve occasional overnight stays when visiting client sites or prospective customers.
