We are a small company making beautiful high-end kitchens and furniture from our workshop in Brixton. All our stunning kitchens are unique, and made to the highest standards, so every job has its own challenges, making this an exciting and rewarding place to work.
We are looking for a skilled and experienced CAD designer, with at least 5 years experience working with Solidworks, to join our friendly and welcoming team, with a view to staying for the long term and building a career with West & Reid.

Requirements:
- a minimum of 5 years experience using Solidworks to design kitchen furniture and high end joinery
- experience working directly with clients, leading design consultations, with both architects and interior designers, and also the clients themselves.
- experience of managing projects from start to finish, producing concept drawings, and technical production drawings
- experience of WINNER would be beneficial
The Role:
- your role will be to see a project through from initial conversations with clients, to the final finished product. Starting with the client's initial brief you will produce sketches and concept drawings, and then develop these with the client, producing detailed plans and elevations for sign off, and then producing full technical production drawings. Finally you will nest the kitchen/furniture, and then liaise with the makers and the fitters as the furniture is built and installed.
