We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time Receptionist/Administrator to join our expanding team. As a receptionist/administrator, you will be required to provide a point of contact for patients and assist them in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional. You will also be responsible for managing patient records and requests, handling clinical correspondence, supporting reception duties when needed, and contributing to the overall organisation of the practice.
The successful applicant will need to be an excellent team player, with experience in managing multiple tasks of a varied nature and have experience of dealing with the public. Candidates must have previous experience working in a GP surgery.
Main duties of the job:- Previous General Practice experience and an understanding of the NHS is preferable, but full training can be given.
- Experience in patient management, care navigator skills, being able to talk to people on the telephone, front desk reception work involving face-to-face contact with patients, excellent admin skills and a knowledge of SystmOne, Footfall and AccuRx is preferable; full training can be given.
- There are also opportunities to diversify within the surgery.
