Responsibilities
- Ensure the cleanliness of the factory floor and around the machines is maintained to the highest level.
- To ensure safety and cleanliness is maintained at the highest level at all times within the non-production areas.
- Carry out and log regular inspections throughout the site.
- Highlight issues using the appropriate reports and documents.
- Where appropriate and instructed by management, help the production team with the cleaning of production equipment.
- Ensure waste is removed from the site as required, segregated accordingly and disposed of using the correct disposal route.
- Handle the cleaning and storage of overalls and garments for the production team.
- Ensure the vending machines and fridges are stocked and clean.
- Ensure adequate supplies of cleaning materials and equipment are available at the point of use, and submit requisitions for resupply as needed.
- Assist in the preparation and clean-up for company events or meetings.
- Report issues with the site facilities to the Site Engineering Manager.
- To be available for work at the required times as defined by their shift pattern.
- Comply with all process work instructions, control plans and safety schedules.
- Ensure as far as reasonably practicable that the site is compliant with West’s Environmental policy.

- Work safely and take responsibility for own safety and that of others.
- Follow all site safety, environmental, and PPE requirements.
- Report hazards, incidents, and near misses promptly.
- Perform only tasks with adequate training and authorisation.

- Follow company quality procedures and cGMP requirements at all times.
Qualifications
- Competent in written and verbal use of the English language.
- Competent in basic numeracy.
