IT Systems Administrator required for our Warehouse and offices based in Waltham Abbey in Essex.
Responsibilities:
- Administrate the computer network of the company, providing critical IT system support for the technical team and business.
- Implement and maintain IT developments needed to progress the business.
- Responsible for host and network administration, data, license administration, including license server administration.
- Administration and upkeep of all systems and services, internal and external.
- Administrate, maintain, facilitate, configure, install, repair and monitor all aspects of IT & Networking, remotely and on-site at West One Technology Ltd.
- Facilitate clients’ needs with regards to IT, be it in sale, advice, technical support or development, via electronic communications or on-site visits.
- Perform Technical Advisory duties for on-site technical teams and individuals, relieving workload when necessary.
- Liaise between upper management and staff on projects requiring a more technical-managerial contact where needed.
- Introduce new computer systems into current setups for optimum IT functions.
- Troubleshoot IT systems when there is an issue reported by computer users.
- Perform checks to ensure all systems are working fine and up to date.
- Administer the creation, operation, modification, and deletion of usernames and passwords of employees in the system.
- Implement security software and tools to ensure maximum security from outside threats.
- Carry out data backups and administration.
- Install and maintain software updates periodically.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science.
- Certificate courses in software, hardware and networking.
- Microsoft Systems Administration/System Engineer certification.
- Four to six years system administration experience.

- Effective hardware and software problem-solving abilities.

- Maintaining the basic working of the system.

The working hours for this position are 08:30 - 17:30 and 09:00 - 18:00 (40 hours per week).
