Key Accountabilities
- Manage loan applications from submission of the application form through to completion, assisting the underwriters and liaising with all third-party stakeholders, including brokers, solicitors, and valuers.
- Responsible for all inbound call taking and keeping data up to date for the whole team.
- Take ownership of allocated cases from submission of the application form through to completion.
- Answer and distribute incoming calls in a professional manner and action where appropriate.
- Handle incoming queries from our introducers and/or customers regarding potential and existing loan applications.
- Prepare loan documentation/term sheets.
- Follow up on documentation sent with our introducers.
- Update data on spreadsheets.
- Liaise with our underwriting teams to provide a high standard of service to our broker partners.
- Assess loan documentation, including valuation reports, and request additional information from brokers where required, highlighting any concerns.
- Carry out checks on the applicants and properties and assess their suitability for the loan applied for.
- Proactively chase outstanding information from third parties and provide timely updates to introducers to enable service excellence.
- Liaise with introducers and solicitors.
- Oversee cases from inception through to completion.
