The Head of Internal Bridging Sales is responsible for day-to-day management and development of the internal sales function. The ideal applicant must have bridging experience.
Direct line management of a team of internal Telephone Business Development Managers, ensuring they are actively engaged in proactive outbound and reactive inbound sales activity daily to our broker partners and introducers, achieving their daily input KPIs and sales targets.
The role oversees the Sales Admin function and has direct line management responsibility of the Sales Admin Team Leader. Training, coaching and developing the team to achieve and exceed business objectives – across bridging, commercial and development finance products.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage the internal Bridging sales division – both TBDM team and Sales Admin.
- Ensure behaviours and activities support delivery of new business targets, KPIs and customer service SLAs.
- Work with Short Term Operations Manager to obtain and deliver MI and other data required for the role to the Sales Team.
- Support the TBDM team in dealing with enquiries and case management, coaching and supporting towards delivery of sales targets.
- Performance management and KPI setting for TBDMs/Sales Admin for ongoing career development.
- Handle case referrals where enquiries sit outside of standard criteria and be point of approval for accepting exceptions.
- Monitor and track case pipeline and ensure teams follow up with brokers where appropriate; keep CRM system up to date.
- Work with marketing to identify sales opportunities from warm leads and campaigns for referral to TBDM.
- Liaise with product teams to provide competitor analysis to the internal sales teams to identify opportunities and USPs.
- Maintain knowledge of general mortgage market, trends and news.
- Keep up-to-date knowledge of West One products and criteria; wider Group products to identify cross-product sales opportunities.
- HubSpot Champion: Train new team members on HubSpot CRM in line with company user guide.
- Monitor usage and ensure best practice for accurate MI.
- Manage reporting and dashboards for product areas.
- Troubleshoot and support users.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity.
