You will play a key role in being responsible for the processing and payment of invoices and managing and maintaining supplier records.

About the Role

Reporting to our Senior Finance Officer, you will be responsible for the processing and payment of invoices and managing and maintaining supplier records. You will provide effective purchase ledger processing within the finance team.

You will play a key role in:

  • Contributing to the efficient operations of the Finance Department in respect of all Purchase Ledger Tasks.
  • Processing invoices and payments to suppliers.
  • Creating, managing and maintaining the supplier accounts within the finance system.
  • Ensuring all month end tasks are completed within the specified timetable.
  • Contributing to the month end close, e.g. accruals and prepayments.

About You

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
  • Ability to organise and prioritise a varied workload effectively, managing multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office particularly Excel and Word, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Ability to demonstrate a proactive approach to problem solving.
