We're looking for an experienced Senior Development Coordinator to join our busy Development team. Accountable to the Development & Projects Manager, you will be responsible for effectively and efficiently managing a range of new build and property projects within West of Scotland Housing Association's award-winning development programme, assuming responsibility through all stages of development.

Alongside comprehensive knowledge and experience of successful involvement with new build development projects, you should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills that enable you to develop and maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external customers and stakeholders.

Summary of main responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage the development process for new build projects through all stages of development.
  • Coordinate and manage design/project teams including contractors, consultants and other professionals, to deliver development and property projects.
  • Manage, develop and support staff as required to meet and promote excellence in standards for service and performance.
  • Manage individual project budgets and expenditure.
  • Lead on project consultation including with internal departments, stakeholders and communities.
  • Support the Development & Projects Manager with project viability work, including the financial modelling of development opportunities.
  • Support the Development & Projects Manager to progress land acquisitions that support the delivery of the Association’s Development Programme.
  • Produce and present project reports to the Development & Projects Manager, internal departments and the Development and Asset Management Sub Committee (DAMSC).
  • Develop and maintain project risk registers with design/project teams, ensuring the Association’s exposure to risk is considered and minimised where possible.
Qualifications:

Full drivers' license and access to a vehicle.
