The West of England Mayoral Combined Authority (MCA) is seeking to appoint an Inward Investment Executive to join the Inward Investment team. Your key responsibilities are to deliver the priorities of the Mayor of the West of England by supporting the attraction and landing of high-value inward investment projects in collaboration with strategic partners, local stakeholders, and national agencies such as the Office for Investment.
Job responsibilities include:
- Supporting the attraction and landing of high-value inward investment projects, working closely with strategic partners, local stakeholders, and national agencies such as the Office for Investment.
- Developing tailored investment propositions that showcase the West of England’s strengths in priority sectors, aligning with regional economic development objectives and clean, inclusive growth ambitions.
- Ensuring effective account management of investor leads and existing businesses, providing a high-quality, responsive service to help businesses navigate the regional offer and scale their operations in the region.
- Completing timely research, data analysis, and company profiling to inform proactive targeting of investors, sector-specific campaigns, and strategic account activity.
- Providing regular updates, briefings, and reporting to support strategic decision-making, demonstrate impact, and maintain alignment with the Metro Mayor’s priorities, including job creation, innovation, and sustainability.
- Collaborating with other teams across the Combined Authority, local authorities, and partner organisations to maximise regional coordination and business support.
