Job IntroductionShape the future of the West of EnglandWith £750 million of new investment secured for the region, there has never been a more exciting time to join the West of England Combined Authority.We're looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to join our Commercial team and lead high-profile, multi-million-pound procurement projects across transport, infrastructure and corporate services.This is an opportunity to do more than manage procurements. You'll work with senior stakeholders, technical experts and suppliers to develop innovative sourcing strategies, deliver value for money and shape commercial outcomes that will have a real impact on the people and communities of the West of England.What you'll doYou'll lead complex procurements from strategy through to contract award and mobilisation, while providing trusted commercial advice across the organisation.You'll lead high value procurement projects, including major infrastructure programmes. You’ll develop innovation sourcing strategies that deliver value, sustainability and strong contractual outcomes. And as a subject matter expert, you’ll advise and influence senior stakeholders, technical specialists and project teams and make sure as an organisation we keep ahead of changes in procurement legislation and ensure robust governance throughout the procurement lifecycle.What you'll bringWe're looking for a confident and commercially minded procurement professional with experience of leading complex procurements and working with senior stakeholders.You'll be an analytical problem solver who’s able to influence positive change. Your key skills and experience will includeMCIPS qualification or be working towards CIPS, alongside degree-level education or equivalent experience.Strong knowledge of procurement regulations, governance and sourcing strategies.Significant experience delivering large-scale, high-risk procurements from end to end.Experience managing teams and leading cross-organisational project groups.Experience of NEC4, capital projects, complex service agreements, central or local government, or social value would be an advantage.Why join us?You'll be joining at a pivotal time, helping deliver major investment and transformation across the West of England — from improving transport and infrastructure to supporting sustainable economic growth.Ready to make an impact? #J-18808-Ljbffr
