The West of England Mayoral Combined Authority (MCA) is seeking to appoint an Investment Governance Officer to join the Investment Management Team.

Your key responsibility in this role will be to help ensure the MCA's investments are effectively managed, monitored and governed, supporting the delivery of the Mayor's priorities and ensuring public funding achieves maximum impact for communities across the West of England.

You'll play an important role in maintaining robust governance processes, supporting investment performance and ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.

  • Developing and maintaining accurate investment records, reports, dashboards and governance documentation.
  • Ensuring investment data is complete, accurate and audit-ready across MCA systems and reporting platforms.
  • Completing governance processes, contract variations, approvals and reporting requirements in line with agreed procedures.

Providing analytical, administrative and compliance support to the Investment Management team and wider stakeholders.

  • Support investment managers with performance monitoring, issue tracking and stakeholder engagement activities
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, governance papers and investment management documentation.
  • Manage investment information within MCA systems, ensuring accuracy, consistency and compliance.
  • Assist with audits, information requests and governance reviews, ensuring records are maintained to a high standard.
  • Identify risks, issues and data quality concerns, escalating matters where appropriate.
  • Support the continuous improvement of investment management processes, templates and reporting arrangements.
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment and the sharing of best practice
