What we're looking for
We're looking for enthusiastic people who are ready to learn, work as part of a team and commit to completing their apprenticeship. You'll also need:
- 5 GCSEs, including English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above)
- Minimum 2 A Levels / predicted grades August 2026) - Grade C or above, or the equivalent qualification
- Good communication and basic IT skills (Microsoft Office or equivalent)
- Good organisational and time management skills, with a reliable and professional approach
- A positive attitude, curiosity and a willingness to learn and develop
- The ability to work collaboratively, showing resilience, enthusiasm and a commitment to delivering your best
- Right to work in the UK and meet the government's apprenticeship funding eligibility requirements

Apprenticeship - Business administrator - Level 3.
This is an exciting opportunity to begin your career in business administration while gaining valuable experience in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
As a Business Administration Apprentice within our Workplace Operations Team, you'll play an important role in helping to create a safe, healthy, and compliant workplace that enables colleagues across the organisation to deliver our strategic priorities.
During your apprenticeship, you'll gain experience across several key functions, including Facilities Management, Business Support, Health and Safety, and Personal Assistant support.
You will develop a broad understanding of how workplace operations support the delivery of public services.
This varied role will give you a broad understanding of how operational services support every part of the organisation, while developing the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed for a successful career in business administration.
You will gain hands-on experience in a professional workplace and no two days will be the same, you could be taking minutes one day, organising lift inspections the next and helping set up a training room the next day.
Key responsibilities
- Work collaboratively and promote effective working relationships with colleagues, customers, partner organisations to support consistent and high-quality service delivery.
- Provide advice and guidance to internal and stakeholders through telephone, face-to-face, written, or digital channels, ensuring accurate, clear and professional responses to enquiries.
- Contribute to the efficiency of an organisation, through support of functional areas, working across teams and resolving issues as requested.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and adopting a proactive approach to developing skills and solving problems.
- Maintains records and files, handles confidential information in compliance with the organisation's procedures.
- Makes effective decisions based on sound reasoning and can deal with challenges in a mature way. Seeks advice of more experienced team members when appropriate.
- Takes responsibility for initiating and completing tasks, manages priorities and time to successfully meet deadlines.
- Organises meetings and events, takes minutes during meetings, and creates action logs as appropriate.
- Makes suggestions for improvements to working practice, showing understanding of implications beyond the immediate environment (e. g. impact on colleagues, stakeholders, other parts of the organisation).
